A natural amphitheatre of vineyards surrounds the Gigante Wine & Welcome, the new establishment in Corno di Rosazzo, in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia, that houses eight rooms and a historical wine cellar.
The newly renovated farmhouse has been furnished with grace and elegance in a melange that blends the antique with the modern. The rooms situated on the first and second floors are spacious, with a delightful view of the hills. They have a private bathroom, floors in natural oak heated for winter stays, air conditioning, controlled mechanical ventilation, TV and free Wi-Fi. For the tourist who loves to relax outdoors, there is a large terrace to take advantage of and for those who like to be sporty, there are cycle paths around the establishment.
Inside, a wellness area with a uniquely designed pool, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath and an emotional shower. In addition, there is a space dedicated to children with books and games. The store with tasting room is fitted with an insulated false ceiling to ensure excellent climate comfort, where guests can embark on sensorial journeys in the fascinating world of wine. The mornings are greeted with a buffet breakfast of sweet and savoury local produce. For Gigante Wine & Welcome, the smallest details are the ones that make the difference; those that are not seen, but are perceived by the soul, that see you enter as a guest yet make you feel so much at home. Providing a sensation of care and harmony is how we aim to welcome travellers who love the land and its produce and who wish to peacefully enjoy a taste of country life..

Grandpa was a mill worker, but his passion was the land and his dream was viticulture, so in 1957 he purchased the home and vineyard in the Rocca Bernarda hills.

The inspiration for the names and furnishings comes from the flowers and trees that surround the farmhouse. The rooms reflect the colours and fragrances of the surrounding hillside.
Every room has large windows, a private bathroom with bathtub or shower, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, towels, bathrobe, slippers, air conditioning, heating, queen or double bed, flat-screen TV, satellite channels, cable channels, separate entrance, sound-proofing, natural oak wood floors, fly screens, wardrobe/closet and free Wi-Fi.

The premises of the old wine cellar have been renovated to create an area in which our guests can enjoy moments of relaxation and embark on a wellness journey.
The pool, in a natural setting, emerging from stones and pebbles from the hills, offers a water massage enriched with a pleasant tour of the vineyards. The sensory ritual continues with a sauna, an infra-sauna, Turkish bath and emotional shower, ending in the relaxation area complete with lounge chairs to restore your energy or to indulge in complete rest. The experience is made even more comfortable with the option to replenish lost fluids by savouring a hot or cold tea.
Sauna: the temperature varies from 80° to 100° of dry heat with a maximum humidity of 15%
Infra-sauna: infra-red rays with a maximum temperature of 60°
Turkish bath: temperature up to 45° and humidity of 100%
Emotional shower: unique water effects using chromotherapy and aromatherapy.
the Territory
Friuli Venezia Giulia is a small region rich in history, culture, food and wine, which stretches from the mountains to the sea. In this setting and by virtue of its position, the Gigante Wine & Welcome is the ideal starting point for discovering our territory: just 20 minutes by car from your accommodation are the towns of Gorizia and Udine, ideal spots to visit for the culture, shopping and entertainment. Trieste, with its Central European charm, offers several historical and leisure solutions and can be reached in around 50 minutes.
You can also easily make your way to the historical towns of Cividale del Friuli and Aquileia, both cities named as UNESCO World Heritage. The Friulian airport, Ronchi dei Legionari is 20km away, as is the A4 motorway, while the nearest railway station, Cormons, is just 5kms away.
